Silk Mark Expo 2015, an initiative of Central Silk Board under the Union Ministry of Textiles, conducted by the SMOI, Silk Mark Organization of India, was held in Gokulam Park Convention Centre, Kaloor, from 22nd –27th July, 2015. A wide range of finest selection of authentic silk sarees from the weavers, silk manufacturers and traders from across the traditional silk producing states of India were put on sale. The expo also had in store a live demo of different stages of silkworms, silk extraction and weaving procedures.
