An Exhibition on the ‘Jews of Malabar’ was held at Jew Street, Mattancherry on the first week of December 2013. The exhibition depicted the history of Jewish settlements featuring Monuments, Manuscripts, Photographs, Calligraphy and even cuisine of Kochi Jewish community. The pioneering exhibition on the ‘Jews of Malabar’ was launched by Thoufeek Zakriya and Thaha Ibrahim at the art gallery “The Ethnic Passage”, curio and souvenir shop in Mattancherry’s Jew street, with the support of the surviving Jewish community of Mattancherry.
