The ‘Faces’ is an exhibition by the 28-year-old artist Vipin Raphel at Durbar Hall Art Gallery in Kochi. The exhibits are drawings done on canvas using Willow pencils. The portraits are so full of life that it is impossible to believe that they are sketched. The artist focuses on hyperrealism, a genre of painting that looks a lot like a high-resolution photograph.
