Dubare Elephant Camp | Coorg
Dubare Elephant camp located on the banks of the river Kaveri in the district of Kodagu (Coorg), Karnataka is a must –experience for anyone who cares about elephants and elephant conservation. With over 150 elephants, the camp is a great chance to get to know these enchanting creatures. The best time to visit Dubare is post monsoon months i.e, mid- Sept to beginning March because the entire place becomes more picturesque and the climate would be very pleasant. During Monsoons, rains are heavy but one can enjoy a unique experience there.
Dubare Elephant Camp has 10 cottages for stay. Accomadation and camping is hosted by Jungle Lodges and Resorts Ltd. (JLR), the ecotourism wing of the Tourism Department of Karnataka
