Squint or strabismus is the misalignment of the eyes. In most of the cases squint occur in infants and young children. Early detection and treatment of squint is required as the person may stop using the affected eye and it can be lead to ‘lazy eye’. Patching the better eye is a part of the treatment. Sometimes surgery is also required to correct the appearance of the squint.
