Onion - 2 to 3
All purpose flour - 1 cup
Bread crumbs - 1 cup
Red chilli powder - ½ tsp
Baking Soda - a pinch
Cornflour - 3 tbsp
Salt – to taste
Oil - to fry
Water - as required
Cut onions into rings and keep it aside.
In a bowl, add all purpose flour, cornflour, baking soda, salt, chilli powder and small quantity of bread crumbs along with required water and mix well to get a thick batter.
Now take onion rings coat with the dry all purpose flour, then dip in the batter and coat with bread crumbs.
Now deep fry the onion rings in pre-heated oil till the rings become golden brown in colour.
Transfer to a dish and serve hot with tomato sauce.
