Try this simple recipe to make crispy and tasty Bhindi Pakodas
Ladiesfinger - 20 to 25
Chilly powder – 1½ tsp+½ tsp+½ tsp
Dried Mango powder - 1 tsp+½ tsp
Bread crumbs - ½ cup
Gram flour - 1 cup
Rice flour - 3 tbsp
Carom seeds - ½ tsp
Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
Salt - to taste
Oil - for deep frying
Water - As required
Trim the top ends of the ladiesfinger and slit vertically as shown and put into a bowl.
Add red chilli powder and dried mango powder. Mix well and keep it aside.
Now in another bowl mix bread crumbs, dried mango powder, salt along with chilli powder. Stuff the ladiesfinger with it.
Then take gram flour, rice flour, carom seeds, turmeric powder, red chilly powder and salt in another bowl. Add sufficient water gradually and whisk to make a thick and smooth batter.
Heat sufficient oil in a pan. Dip ladies finger in the batter and deep fry on a low-medium flame till they turn golden brown and crisp.
Now transfer to a serving dish with an absorbent paper to drain the oil and serve hot.
