Padayani, Kerala – IFFOK 2014
Padayani is a ritualistic dance of Kerala, which literally means an array of common people. This traditional folk dance is performed to please the Bhadrakali or Goddess Kali. The dance involves the use of semicircular masks worn on the head with the face painted. It is presented at temples which houses the Bhadrakali.
