The Global Ayurveda Festival Kerala 2014 (GAF) is the biannual Ayurveda fest Organized by the Centre for Innovation in Science & Social Action (CISSA), in association with the Ayurveda fraternity of Kerala including AMAI, AMMOI, AMHA in support with the Kerala government.GAF 2012 was an event of high impact in the history of contemporary Ayurveda due to the overwhelming response and support it received from all stakeholders of Ayurveda. Mauritius President Rajkeswur Purryag was the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony of the global Ayurveda festival 2014 which began in kochi on February 20. Kerala chief minister Oommen Chandy inaugurated the festival. Speakers at the event included Mahiepala Herath, Chief Minister, Sabaragamuwa Provincial council, Srilanka ; Salinda Dissanayake MP ,Minister of Indigenous Medicine Sri Lanka and BSB Yalegama Sri lankan Minister of Health and indigenous Medicine.
