Madokaram Prashanth Iyengar is a renowned professional Veena player. He had his tutelage under his mother Smt Padmasini Narasimhachar and mellowed into an artiste under the guidance of Veena Vidwan Sri. R. K. Suryanarayana. Prashanth Iyengar holds World Record in Limca Book of Records for the longest marathon Veena concert ever played by an artiste. Mr Iyengar has also the credit of having evolved an integrated system of learning Music, Theatre and Yoga while working for the Government of Karnataka.
