Revathi Srinivasaraghavan is a versatile dancer and a creative choreographer. Her journey as a dancer began from an early age. After her initial tutelage under the late guru Guru Komalavalli Krishnamani, she learned the nuances of the art from the late Kalaimamani Shri Kadirvelu Pillai, one of the renowned Nattuvanars in India. She learned the intricacies of Abhinaya from the guru Padma Bhushan Kalanidhi Narayanan, and continues under the guidance of guru S. P. Srinivasan. She underwent training the art of Konnakol under Shri T.S Nandakumar and currently continues with Shri Satish Krishnamurthy.
Revathi has attended workshops and seminars conducted by renowned artists such as Padma Bhushan Sri C. V. Chandrashekhar and Padma Shri Adayar K. Lakshman. She has also undergone training in folk dance for several years.
Revathi holds a Master’s degree in Fine Arts from the Nagpur University. She is a Nritya Alankar from the Akhila Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal, and has been conferred the titles of “Shivali Nritya Shiromani” from the Shivali Cultural Trust and “Natya Ratna” from the Rasikaranjani Sabha.
