Liver Masala Roast Recipe
Liver - 1/2 kg
Pepper powder - 2 tbsp + 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Salt - 1 tsp + 1/2 tsp
Onion - 3 nos
Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbsp
Chilly powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
Potato - 1 - 2 nos
Water - 1 1/2 cup
Coconut milk - 1 1/2 cup
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Oil & ghee - 3 tbsp & 1 tsp
Marinate the liver pieces along with 2 tbsp pepper powder, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp turmeric for 30 mins.
Heat oil in a pan and add the marinated liver pieces along with required salt and pepper powder. Saute well and close it with a lid for 8 to 10 minutes.
Once the liver is semi cooked, open the lid, saute well till the liver gets fried and transfer it to a platter. Keep it aside.
Now add 1 tsp of ghee into the same oil and add 1 cup chopped onion along with ginger garlic paste and saute for some time.
Then add 1 tsp chilly powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric along with required salt and pepper powder and mix it well.
Now add 1 1/2 cup of water and 1 sliced potato in it, mix well and close the lid till the potato gets cooked.
After some time open the lid mix well and add 1 1/2 cup of coconut milk to it, Again mix it well and close it for 5 more minutes.
Now open the lid add the fried liver pieces, mix well and again close the pan for some more time.
Now you can open the lid and add 1 tsp garam masala along with a sprig of chopped coriander leaves and saute well.
Liver Masala Roast it ready. Now you can trasnfer it to a serving bowl, garnish it with some more coriander leaves and serve hot.
