Attuvela Mahotsavam is a two-day festival celebrated at Elamkavu Sree Bhagavathy Temple located at Vadayar village in Kottayam district of Kerala. The festival is a magnificent water carnival celebrated in the Malayalam month of Meenam, which falls between March and April. It is believed that the festival is conducted to welcome the Goddess of Kodungalloor, who is the sister of Goddess Elamkavu when she comes to visit her sister every year.
