Sarath Kumar is an Indian film actor, politician, body builder and he receives Mr.Madras, and also he has Pilot license and the current president of South Indian Film Artistes Association. Sarath Kumar started his career in Tamil cinema playing negative roles, and later played minor roles in other movies.Sarathkumar was born on July 14, 1954 in New Delhi to M. Ramanathan and Pushpa Leela. Sarath Kumar also has a sister named Mallika Kumar. Sarath Kumar's native place is Thalakavur in Sivaganga district near Karaikudi. Sarath Kumar graduated with his B. Sc. in Mathematics from The New College, Chennai.Sarath Kumar served as a DMK member of parliament in Rajya Sabha. Sarath Kumar also serves as the current president of the South Indian Film Artistes Association, organizing several industry-based events.
