Mr.Vayalar Ravi, the die – hard Congressman from Alappuzha district in Kerala, is a Rajya Sabha member and Cabinet Minister in charge of NRI affairs in the Union Cabinet. He has also served as AICC General Secretary and KPCC President and has been a key player of Congress politics in the state for the last five decades. Mr. Ravi is a staunch Nehruvian and a believer of ‘reforms with a human face’. His wife, Mercy Ravi is a member of the Kerala Assembly.
