Hot Cross Buns - Demonstrated by Ms. Jagee Anthraper
Sweet Buns made with mixed spices, currants or raisins,marked with a cross on top, traditionally eaten on Good Friday.
Sift the flour and salt and rub in butter .Stir in sugar ,spice and currants. Add yeast ,liquid and egg and mix bread for 10 minutes until you get a smooth pliable dough. Place in a bowl, cover with tea cloth and leave it until the dough doubles in size...... Get recipe
