Tripunithura Krishnadas, born on November 5, 1954, hails from the legendary Mundempilly family of temple instrumental musicians of Kerala. This B grade Edakka artist in Akashavani and Doordarshan has received Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academy Award in 1992 and the Central Government Fellowship by the Minister of HRD Govt. of India in 1996. He has also played Edakka and Chenda for several Malayalam movie songs and has participated in the Festival of India that held in Paris in 1984. To watch his performance Click here
